Derelle Watson-Duvall
Derelle Watson-Duvall has an undergraduate degree from DePauw University and her law degree from Indiana University Law School in Indianapolis. She has practiced law for twenty-six years. She is a former child welfare caseworker and served as counsel for the Marion County Office of Family and Children for sixteen years. She has represented adoption and guardianship petitioners in private practice. She currently represents the programs of Kids' Voice, including the Derelle Watson-Duvall Children’s Law Center of Indiana, Supervised Parent-Child Visitation and Bette J. Dick GAL for Kids. She co-authored the 1988 CHINS Deskbook, Updates, Supplements, Primer II and the CHINS Deskbook 2001 with Frances G. Hill. She received the Viola Talliafero Award from the Civil Rights of Children Committee of the Indiana State Bar Association in 1998. She received from the Indiana State Bar Association the ISBA Women in the Law Recognition Award in 2004.
Bethanne Gruner
Bethanne Gruner is qualified Human Resources, Office and Finance Management Professional with 20 years diverse experience in business operational and management practices. Bethanne is the Executive Office Manager responsible for overseeing all operations of Kids' Voice of Indiana. Duties include staffing, payroll, accounting, cash management, health, dental, and liability insurance benefits coordination, correspondence, marketing strategies, fund-raising, scheduling, and assisting in supervised parent-child visitations and customer service.
Saundria Bordone
Saundria Bordone is an attorney with Kids' Voice. Prior to joining the staff of Kids' Voice, she served as one of its volunteer guardians ad litem for about three years. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Sociology and Political Science from Oklahoma University in 1966. She received her J.D., summa cum laude. from Indiana University School of Law in 1998. During her twenty-five year career as a federal government employee, she worked for the U.S Air Force, the U.S. Postal Service, and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). At the time of her early retirement from the federal government in 1995, she was the NLRB's Regional Director of Region 25 (Indiana). She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA), and the Indianapolis Bar Association. She is a past chair of the ISBA Employment and Labor Law Section.
J. Clare Deitchman
Clare Deitchman is an attorney with Kids' Voice. Prior to joining the staff of Kids' Voice, she served as one of its volunteer guardian ad litem. She obtained her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Indiana University Bloomington. Clare also has a Master of Business Administration from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She received her J.D., from Indiana University School of Law Indianapolis in 2002. Clare practiced as general counsel to a home health care agency and two years with an insurance defense litigation firm before opening her own practice focusing on family, business and employment law. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA)(Family Law, Business Law and sections), and the Indianapolis Bar Association (section membership).
Andrea Smith
Andrea Smith joined the staff of Kids’ Voice as an attorney in November, 2008. Andrea received her undergraduate degree from Colgate University and her law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. During law school, Andrea was a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office, District of Arizona, and for Community Legal Services, a legal aid provider in Phoenix. She completed mediation training at the Lodestar Mediation Clinic and served as a volunteer mediator in the Maricopa County Justice Courts.
