Kids’ Voice of Indiana protects endangered children by providing legal education, child advocacy and family visitation through three programs:
Kids’ Voice of Indiana is launching a new eNewsletter to communicate and connect with all of our amazing supporters, volunteers, and donors. There are so many exciting events and activities going on at Kids’ Voice this spring!  We can’t wait to share all the information with you.
2017 Annual Fundraising Campaign
Be a “Hero” to the abused and neglected children in Indiana
In an effort to reach a greater audience, we are embracing the power of peer-to-peer fundraising. The notion of peer-to-peer fundraising, and what makes it successful, is the ability to connect with others on a personal level.
As a valued supporter of Kids’ Voice, we are hoping you will participate in our first peer-to-peer fundraising campaign through everydayhero. The idea is simple: create your own fundraising page on behalf of Kids’ Voice and distribute to your circle of friends. We recommend Facebook, Twitter, and even email. Share your own experience with Kids’ Voice; why you choose to support us and why others should get involved.
To create your own fundraising page click “Start Fundraising” on the Kids’ Voice Everyday Hero page.
  • On your personal fundraising page, insert a page title, personal goal (automatically set for $250), name, and address.
  • You will be prompted to connect with your Facebook page or your email address. Select based on your preferred method of communication with your circle. This is the page you will share with friends and family. You will be able to edit your page at any time.
  • Personalize your story and add a profile picture. Make the page your own.
  • Share! Send to everyone you know and ask them to share as well.
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month
This month and throughout the year, Kids’ Voice of Indiana encourages all individuals and organizations to play a role in making Indiana a better place for children and families.
Your donation to the Kids’ Voice Annual Fundraising Campaign this month will provide the financial assistance to keep the children of Indiana in a safe and secure environment.  With increased funding, Kids’ Voice was able to increase the number of children and their families from 770 in 2015 to 1,080 in 2016.  We hope to increase the number we are able to help in 2017 with your support.
Each time you make a donation to support Kids’ Voice of Indiana, you are helping change lives forever – the lives of the children and of the parent(s) – it is a simple process that will have a lasting effect.

GAL Volunteer Case Logs
One of our grantors has requested more specific reporting of our GAL volunteer hours. And, so we are asking you to help us out! Many of our attorney volunteers keep track in their billing software and that works great! For those of you who are not attorneys, we have the attached case log for your use. But, any way you choose to track your hours is great with us, as long as you track them! We must report hours each quarter, so we ask that you turn in these time sheets on the 15th and the last day of each month. You may receive reminder emails from Colie asking for time sheets. We apologize for the inconvenience and as always appreciate all your amazing support!
Please contact one of the Kids’ Voice attorneys if you have any questions.

Run(317) in Carmel
Volunteer for Kids’ Voice of Indiana
Join us on August 31, 2017, as we team up with Run(317) sponsored by Scotty’s Brewhouse for the Carmel leg of the race series!
A portion of the RUN(317) Carmel Arts & Design District race proceeds will benefit Kids’ Voice of Indiana.
We need to have at least 100 volunteers to help at the various support stations before, during, and after the race! We need volunteers to hand out race packets, monitor the course, check IDs and wristbands, and serve beer to participants once the race is over. Click on the Volunteer tab to sign up as a volunteer.
Want to run the race? Follow the link to register for the race, which is only $37.25 until August 3. There will be a Post-Race Party held in Carmel’s Art & Design District, where you can enjoy 2 free Thr3e Wise Men beers and music by DJ Sinclair Wheeler.
We hope to see you there!
